What is Castle of Shikigami3?
It is a vertical scrolling arcade shooting game released by Alpha System Inc. in 2006.
The 10 characters have special attack methods called “Shikigami“,
and depending on the character you choose and your play style,
this shooting game can be enjoyed by a wide range of players,
from beginners to experts.
“Shikigami attack” is an attack method exclusive to each character.
When an enemy is defeated by a Shikigami attack,
coins are automatically collected to score points.
It has the advantage of making it easier to earn points compared to normal shots,
however, since the range and movement speed are limited,
it’s important to strategically switch between normal shots and Shikigami attacks.
T.B.S. (Tension bonus system) is a system in which the closer your character
is to an enemy or enemy bullet, the higher the score multiplier becomes.
At the maximum multiplier, the normal shot powers up into the powerful
“High Tension Attack“,Allowing players to enjoy the high-risk,
high-return gameplay strategy.
“Special Attack” clears enemy bullets the moment it’s used and triggers a
powerful character-specific attack.
There is a limit to the number of times it can be used, but it recovers one use
when you are hit or your life increases.
Use it aggressively when in a difficult situation.
The “High Tension MAX” is activated by pressing the D button,
consuming one special attack.
The player becomes invincible for a short period of time,
and then remains in the “high tension attack” state for a certain period of time,
regardless of the distance from the enemy or enemy bullets,
and all coins generated when destroying an enemy are multiplied by 1.5.
